Jason Butler
Jason Butler is a professional artist who lives and works in jersey. He studied for his foundation course at Bristol Art College and at Cheltenham for his fine art degree.Jason has held several solo exhibitions in the island and has received many awards and scholarships for his work.
He has produced a number of prestigious commissions including a large scale mural for the Jersey Museum in 1999, commemorating the Queens visit in 2001 for the Jersey government and most recently a set of paintings for the Opera Holland Park.
His work has also been acquired in many countries outside of Jersey and in 2002 Jason's work was selected for the BP Award at the National Gallery..
